 About Us:

The Business Development Club was created in the month of April of 2007 by Phillip Yang and Mike Langford.  Both undergraduate students; Phillip attends the School of Public Policy while Mike goes to the Marshal School of Business. With a vision of creating a group where business minded people gather and participate in events, a diverse group of people were recruited to form the club from the beginning.

Our executive board was selected from a wide field of interests and viewpoints to provide a very dynamic element not found in other clubs. Everyone who formed the club was interested in creating a long lasting organization that would benefit later generations of Trojans for years to come. Jennifer Berbower, Jeff Balbein, Gwendolyn Juarez, Janice Kim, Matt McGinniss, Kalman Portman, Phil Thanawiwat, Amir Ursani, Careen Uy, and William Wu were instrumental in the growth and formation of the club.

The focus of the club is to bring a wide range of students together to share ideas, to form new partnerships, and to create a place where advice and mentoring services could be provided.

We emphasize professionalism and providing a way to network with a diverse range of fields in marketing, real estate, hospitality, cinema, accounting, banking, consulting, government, legal, and sales. We will be involved with community based events and provide peer mentoring for other undergraduates looking to grow their insight into business.
